Progress video!

It's André here again, with a quick update on yesterday's post. I've been promising something good for a while and I thought it was time to deliver :)

So yesterday we talked about how we started replacing our placeholder assets with ones created by our artist, Andreia. Everything went very well, and we were happy to see that they work quite well with our game. So far, we have new character sprites, and some of the characters' portrait art.

I'll leave you with a short video of a debug map demonstrating the differences between our old dialogue system (using placeholder art) and the new dialogue system (using Andreia's art!):

Don't mind the actual dialogue in the video, it's all made up gibberish 😅

This is just the start. There' still more to add and our game will start looking much more unique with every passing day!
